  • Data from individual content sources so you can get more detailed insights into learner activity within those data sources and verify completion data at the source.

How does Watershed work with EdCast?

We’ve connected with EdCast many times before, so the good news is that connections are quick and easy. Our team of data exports will do the hard work for you.

The Watershed EdCast connector connects to the EdData API to pull in data on a regular schedule. This data is combined with data from other sources, including your HRIS, and the content sources that your learners access through EdCast.

Your Edcast data is pulled into Watershed dashboards and reports, allowing you instant access to insights around learner behavior and content usage. We’ll handle this process for you from start to finish, so you can sit back and relax while our data experts do their thing.

What data is included?

The Watershed-EdCast connector imports data about people, any EdCast teams they belong to, and their interactions within the platform. You can report on all this data in Watershed. The interaction data includes:

  • Channel, journey, and pathway interactions—such as following, viewing, creating, or promoting as well as unfollowing, editing, and deleting.
  • EdCast card interactions—including views, likes, ratings, and comments as well as video and assignment interactions for certain card types.
  • Searches—including the search query and number of results returned.
  • User interactions—including follows and unfollows as well as skills, expertise topics, and interest topics.

While our implementation team will take care of all of the details when importing your Cornerstone data into our learning record store, you may find these resources helpful:
